I'm a sort of creative person, seeking the meaning of life . Hard to capture the essence of the mind/brain/soul - but I delight in arguing with ultra-materialists on consciousness. Ah! the smell of a rose and its redness, the smell of a fine wine, a sunset, - great stuff, and all subjective. Oh yeah and actually am Scorpio by 4 hours according to expert astrologer friend - blogger auto-star-sign system missed the fact that I'm on the cusp. Though I agree with Casius when he said "the fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings".

"Free Energy and Free Will"

That's the title we'll almost certainly use on our (Seba's and my) blockbuster about Steorn's free energy and it's implications for the world - mainly for free will, as in the mind-matter debate. Other implications will of course also be discussed. A history of our involvement in this great adventure will be part of it.

Anonymous said...: Sounds like positive news on the Orbo development. I find it difficult to get my mind around the concept of a solid state free energy device, but no doubt all will be revealed soon. Hopefully there will be a commercial product launch by a Steorn licensee this year. This will surely ruffle a few feathers in the global scientific community – a lot of work will be required to rewrite and understand existing scientific theory on the laws of thermodynamics .; 1:28 AM

Anonymous said...: Are you saying that if a person can create new energy, they can create an action that is free of the bonds of causality? Hmmm, but if the action has no cause, surely it is random, and a random act is surely not free will.
I have to say, I don't understand how there can be any action that is not caused and not random. If not, there can be no free will.
